Alexander Dexter

This is a great place to add a tagline.

Alex was a vibrant toddler who lit up the world around him with sweet smiles, blue eyes, and uncanny ability to find the right beat to dance to any tune!

 

Alex was diagnosed with stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma at 10 months old.  Always on the go to keep up with his 4 older siblings, he did not allow cancer to steal his light.  

 

Alex mesmerized us with his ability to navigate with strength and resilience through 11 chemotherapy cycles, 4 surgeries, lots of imaging studies and numerous other procedures in less than one year. He exuded a wisdom and love of life far beyond his years, and taught us what it is to live life for the moment and take nothing for granted.

Children undergoing treatment for cancer often require blood transfusions to help them recover from the effects of Chemotherapy. an affordable but effective way to make a difference is to drop by your hospital or local blood bank!
